Burrison Law Welcomes Paralegal Darrien Moore to the Team
Darrien grew up in Perth (just outside of Ottawa, Ontario) where she attended high school, and also volunteered, at the Rideau Regional Centre in Smiths Falls. Upon graduation, Darrien relocated to Ottawa where she graduated from Algonquin College and obtained her paralegal license. Despite being a “country girl”, she felt that the big city of Toronto was calling, and she moved here to work in the legal industry. We are lucky to have her!
Darrien is a licensed paralegal with the Law Society of Upper Canada, working exclusively in the area of personal injury since beginning her legal career. Through her years of experience, she has built great relationships with clients and adjusters, as well as with her colleagues in the defence bar. She is very attentive to the client needs throughout the tort proceedings and is always finding ways to advocate for our clients in a professional manner throughout the accident benefits process.
Darrien continues to do volunteer work in Toronto with Lawyers Feed the Hungry, The Hospital for Sick Children, and other charity events within the GTA. When Darrien is not working, she enjoys trying various restaurants around the city and immersing herself in the different neighbourhoods and cultures of Toronto. She is an enthusiastic animal lover and has a pet cat (whom she spoils). Darrien has a strong sense of family and loves to see her mom and siblings as much as possible when she heads back home to Perth.
